Den Nakna Sanningen/The Naked Truth is a project addressing the issue of breast cancer. My anonymous models have given their trust in me to photograph their beauty. Along with the photographs the women write about how it was to be diagnosed, how it was to be photographed by me and how it was to look at the photographs of themselves. The stories add a personal touch and we feel we meet the different women. Six women are photographed as of today.

The photographs are available for exhibitions and for sale where 50 % of the selling price goes to local organisations working with the women afflicted with breast cancer in the particular region the exhibition is held.

The aim is to be able to photograph women from several countries visualizing similarities and differences in treatment, stigma and societal attitudes.
